This is also the first exhibition of its kind at DobraVaga — an exhibition in which the exhibitor is not an artist, but someone who co-creates the contemporary art scene from a supporting position. Not long ago, Lav also had a solo exhibition at DobraVaga, making this return to the gallery space all the more interesting.Lav Mrenović primarily works as an art critic and curator; he does not produce art, but rather observes, analyses, interprets, and writes about it. His zine is not an artwork in the conventional sense, but a literary-confessional and critical piece that directly addresses working conditions in culture and the broader socio-political mechanisms shaping the art system.
