Miki Taagholt is a Danish professional triathlete and a father of 2 children. He started his career as a swimmer, but later transitioned to triathlon. He competed in shorter distance racing and was even in contention for the Tokio 2021 Olympic games team, although he already tried racing the middle distance in 2017. He became a professional in 2019 and grabbed 3rd place finishes in Ironman 70.3 Gdynia and Ironman 70.3 Indian Wells. In 2021, Miki finished 2nd in Ironman 70.3 Oceanside and 4th in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. A year later, he proved he was “a real deal” with a 6th place in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships, along with a 4th place in the Challenge Championship in Samorin and 10th place in the PTO Canadian Open. Miki got his first (and so far the only) professional win in 2023 in Ironman 70.3 Luxembourg. He believes he has a lot more things to achieve in triathlon and is keen to improve even further. His goal is to become an Ironman World Champion in the iconic Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.
