Lizzie Rayner is a professional triathlete from Great Britain. She completed her first triathlon in 2009, at the age of 12, and then completed a couple more in 2013, after being inspired by the Brownlee brothers Alistair and Jonny Brownlee at the London 2012 Olympic Games. Lizzie competed in sprint and olympic distance triathlons, but then “accidentally” turned pro in 2022, when she won the Outlaw Half Triathlon, her first ever middle distance triathlon. In 2023, Lizzie finished 2nd in Challenge Wales and Ironman 70.3 Knokke Heist. In 2024, she made a step further and finished 6th in Ironman 70.3 Valencia and 5th in Ironman 70.3 Mallorca, both times in a very stacked and competitive field. Lizzie has been making consistent progress as a professional triathlete and is now targeting her first professional win.
