Rebecca is a pharmacist by profession and started doing triathlon because her husband is also a triathlete, and as she says, this was her only option to get to spend time with him. She climbed through the age-group ranks, became a Zwift Academy Tri finalist and then decided to turn professional. Her first professional season was in 2023, when she finished 7th in Ironman 70.3 Lanzarote, 6th in Challenge Gdansk and 5th in Ironman 70.3 Swansea and Ironman Wales. In 2024, she started the season with a 9th place in Ironman 70.3 Valencia and then finished 13th in Ironman Hamburg, which was, in her opinion, her best race so far. Rebecca has big ambitions and wants to return to Kona to race the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii, a race she had done as an age-grouper, but didn’t go according to her plans.
