Tina Christmann is a professional triathlete from Germany, currently based in the UK. After retiring from 14 years of competitive rowing with two international medals and appearances in the famous Oxford vs. Cambridge Rowing Race, Tina discovered triathlon in 2020 during her PhD at Oxford. Se quickly achieved success and won her first age-group races. Things then moved quickly and after some major race wins, including winning Ironman 70.3 Weymouth in 2023, Tina took a pro licence in 2024. In her debut pro season, she completed a 9:00h Iron-distance debut at Challenge Almere, where she finished 7th, won the Ironbourne British Middle Distance champs and placed three times in the top 10 at major pro events such as Alpe D'Huez Triathlon, Ironman 70.3 Kraichgau and Challenge Almere. Tina is not just a professional triathlete, but also works full-time as an environmental scientistand lecturer. She is a host of a TRI With Perspective podcast. In 2025, TIna is aiming to qualify for the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.
